DESCRIPTION: synchronous three-phase standardized electric motor for general purposes in industrial applications, with squirrel-cage rotor, totally enclosed, externally fan-cooled, Rating and performance in compliance with: IEC 60034-1.

The JM80 ~ 160 and GM160 ~ 355 SERIES asynchronous electric motors are made on request in special executions for safe use in environments with potentially explosive atmospheres, according to the ATEX directive 2014/34 / UE group II, category 3D zone 22 and category 3G zone 2.

Asynchronous Brake Motors
Asynchronous self-braking electric motors are systems that combine an asynchronous, three-phase or single-phase motor, and a steel disk brake, all in a single unit. Self-braking electric motors are indicated in all cases where it is crucial to minimize stopping times, while maintaining the typical advantages of asynchronous motors. Given the extreme precision in braking, the self-braking electric motors are particularly suitable for use in lifting machinery (hoists, hoists, etc.) and handling.

Brushless IE4 PM Electric Motors
Developed by iMotor in collaboration with the Engineering Department of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE), it integrates a new concept of Electric Motor comparable to IE4+ levels of Efficiency, well above what is required by currently active regulations.
Starting from the components of Standard Asynchronous Motors, Brushless Motors PM technology has been integrated, allowing to obtain very high efficiencies at very low costs compared to the Brushless PM solutions already existing on the market.

The term ATEX (explosive atmosphere) indicates a mixture that, in particular conditions of temperature, pressure, air and fuel is able to originate an explosion. The fuel can be gas or dust.
